Now in it's fourth year, the Webby Awards brings together the global online community for a dazzling celebration of the internet's best and brightest. This year's event was held at the Masonic Auditorum in San Francisco. The emcee was actor Alan Cummings. Special guest presenters included comedienne Sandra Bernhardt, musician John Perry Barlow, and editor Tina Brown. This program covers the first half of the Webby's ceremony. Originally broadcast in 2000.
